The background behind the foundation was from firsthand experience of the negative effects of Teenage Pregnancies around the Communities living in Kericho County, Kenya.  From the year 2008, the founder MS. Daisy Kosgey was documenting the experiences and occurrences occasioned by teenage pregnancies within her Kalenjin community through her book (https://www.dearlittlesisters.org/the-book/) titled ‘Dear Little Sister’ which was officially published and launched in June 2018.
