//Right to Be A Girl Project in Kericho County

The Foundation with the Support of our Partner; Mundo Cooperante, conducted the Right to be A girl project in Kericho County. The project entailed sensitization of girls on the dangers of teenage pregnancy and child marriage, importance of girls’ education and menstrual hygiene. Further, parents, community leaders and administration officers as well as teachers were sensitized on the best ways to support girls education while breaking the silence on challenges facing girls by preventing and reporting to deter occurrences.

To support girls menstrual hygiene and ensure continued stay in school, girls were issued with dignity packs containing; sanitary pads, inner wears, soaps, body lotion, encouragement notes and copies of the Dear Little Sister Novel. Education bursaries were also given to needy girls to enable them cater for their school fees.

The project happened in Kiletien , Chepseon , Kichawir and Kamachungwa Primary and Junior Secondary Comprehensive Schools in Chepseon Ward, Kipkelion East Constituency – Kericho County between 12th and 16th August2025 and was led by the Founding Director, MS.
