///Sister’s Keeper Club Consultative Forum in Chepseon

In an effort to sustain the ‘Motherhood Waits’ campaigns in Chepseon Location of Kericho County, the Dear Little Sister Foundation Founding Director Ms. Daisy Kosgey, on 2nd February 2024, held a consultative forum with the Foundation’s stakeholders to forge a way forward on running of Sister Keeper Clubs in Secondary Schools in the Region.

The Sister’s Keeper clubs are aimed at building accountability and positive peer influence amongst school girls in the fight against teenage pregnancy, child marriage and related teenage challenges.

The forum, held at African Inland Church Chesinende, was attended by the Patrons of the clubs from 5 schools, local chief and assistant chief and liaison clergy representatives from the region.

The participants pledged to all that is possible to train and sensitize the girls through the clubs with the administration officials and clergy taking charge during school holidays. The DLS Foundation on its part, assured the stakeholders of its support and robust sustainability plan for the clubs.
